Jobstreet Teams Up with Singapore Slingers for Charity

able Beach Singapore, 18 Feb 2013: The JobStreet.com Singapore Slingers and its title sponsor, JobStreet.com, are helping to raise funds for the ARC Children Centre through the help of the fundraising organization One Cent Movement.

ARC Children Centre, acknowledged to be the only day care centre for children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses, is dedicated to nurturing and enriching the lives of these children in a joyful and healthy environment.

To raise funds, ticketsfor the Asean Basketball League home game between JobStreet.com Singapore Slingers versus San Miguel Beermen on 24 February at 4pm will be priced at $14, with $1 donated to ARC Children Centre.

This fund will be used to support the centre's mission in providing a safe sanctuary for kids receiving treatment to continue to learn and play. In addition, children from the centre are also invited to watch the basketball game with their families.

"We are very happy to be able to support ARC Children Centre in this meaningful cause of bringing joy to children with life-threatening illnesses," said Mark Chang, the founder of JobStreet.com and Slingers chairman.

Tickets for the charity match are available to the public now at all SISTIC outlets.
