Portfolio Database Engineer (2-year contract)
(Singapore)

Responsibilities

  • Responsible to managing the database for the process portfolio to ensure that the information in the database is properly captured and presentable for internal and external consumption
  • Ensure that the status of process information is correctly indicated and provide support for users of the Oracle Agile system who needs assistance with the database system as it pertains to the process portfolio
  • Enforcing the proper discipline of the database management
  • Work primarily with product marketing and the process owner to manage the correctness and integrity of the process technology and process id in the Oracle Agile system, which will be the primary catalog for the company’s portfolio
  • Work closely with other organizations that have contributing documentations and information that tie into the Oracle Agile systems to include DSD, Tapeout Operations, and QRA
  • Ensure that the methodology in how the information is communicated to the end-users and customer is clear, concise, and effective
  • Drive a corporate consistency in how process information is captured and communicated across the fabs within GlobalFoundries
  • Manage the QX-026 and the nomenclature for capturing the generation of the legacy process id

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred
  • At least 2-3 years experience in a technology company
  • Basic understanding of semiconductors required
  • Experience in database management preferred
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Understanding of database concepts
  • Strong logical thinking process
  • Able to solve complex problems in a logical manner
  • A team player having the ability to work across diverse cross-functional teams
  • Detail oriented
