Customer Engineering Manager / Section Manager
(Singapore - Singapore)

Responsibilities

  • To lead and manage all aspects of customer product lifecycle for customers that have products with high revenue potential and are part of GLOBALFOUNDRIES’s Strategic Customer Account base. This should be accomplished by providing excellent customer services so as to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Responsible for managing customer product lifecycle. This includes timely engineering prototype delivery, successful ramp to production, resolution and closure of customer issues
  • Manage and lead a team of Engineer and Manager to ensure that the customer’s “voice” is heard in GLOBALFOUNDRIES
  • Responsible to facilitate yield, delivery and qualification related issues for customer products.
  • Main focus will be on resolving yield issues related to customer design and GLOBALFOUNDRIES IP usage in customer products
  • Build and employ systems to process and manage customer interfaces (such as but not limited to customer requests, meetings, visits, complaints and feedback) with timely closed-loop response
  • Develop and utilize procedures to effectively communicate with customers on Fab technical and /or quality issues so as to mitigate exposure and proactively manage customers’ expectations
  • Set up and operate Customer Survey to gauge customer satisfaction and drive for improvements with the aim of being rated as #1 supplier
  • Lead and mentor team leaders and members to be proficient in carrying out Customer Engineering’s roles and responsibilities through training and coaching. Nurture the next tier of leadership
  • Synergize with various other departments such as AM, Marketing, FE, Fab Ops, QA and HR to achieve corporate management’s business objectives and initiatives

Requirements:

  • PhD/ Master/ Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or related field
  • At least 5-8 years’ relevant experience in wafer fab (technical position) environment
  • Possess strong leadership qualities, system and creative problem solving skills
  • Customer-friendly personality and communicative
  • Proactive, outgoing and energetic
  • Mature, decisive and discerning
