Chief Safety Officer (Singapore - 40 Scotts Road, #22-01 Environment Building, Singapore 228231) Responsibilities: The Chief Safety Officer's key responsibility is to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all PUB employees. The jobscope includes:
• Addressing safety and health issues at the workplace • Planning and implementing safety programmes for staff • Ensuring safety compliance with all of MOM’s statutory requirements • Monitoring workplace safety statistics and recommending the requisite safety action plans • Carrying out regular Health & Safety and engineering audits and spot checks and making recommendations for areas of improvement • Conducting independent accident investigations and recommending preventive/corrective measures. • Secretariat for safety related Committees Requirements:Applicants should have good leadership qualities with a minimum of 15 years of relevant working experience in chemical, fire and construction safety sectors as well as safety audits. Applicants should also possess the following qualifications:
• Professional Certificate in Safety Officers Training • Professional Certificate in Safety Auditors Training • Certificate in Fire Engineering
