Responsibilities:

• Primary objectives
• To be part of the group of safety & risk engineers on projects.
• To undertake various safety & risk assessments, including Quantitative Risk Assessments, Formal Safety Assessments (e.g. fire and explosion assessment, escape evacuation rescue analysis, emergency systems survivability analysis), Dropped Object Analysis, HAZOPs, etc.
• To undertake/manage safety & risk related projects as required by the company workload.



• Specific Accountabilities
• Project management, production of project deliverables on time and to budget.
• Participate and manage Risk Assessments and other Safety & Risk related Studies or Reports.
• Facilitate Project Risk Assessments for the various Customer Sector Groups.
• Provide advice to Project Engineering personnel & Management on all aspects of risk reduction, mitigation and safety engineering matters.
• At times, to support other Engineering projects for the various Customer Sector Groups.
• One Way – Support and demonstrate leadership, commitment and accountability for the effective application of OneWay (Company’s framework for progress towards zero harm).
• Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the BU, etc.
• Safety – Responsible for personal safety and safe working practices for the BU, etc. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Engineering (Mining/Mineral), Engineering (Petroleum/Oil/Gas) or equivalent, preferably safety & risk, chemical.
• Required skill(s): On/Offshore, Oil & Gas, Hydrocarbon, HAZOP, Quantitative Risk Assessment. Be certified in and have exprience in facilitation of Hazard Analysis including HAZID, HAZOP, SIL etc...
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Engineering - Oil/Gas or equivalent. Job role in Management or equivalent.
• 1 Full-Time positions available.
