Our services include design, fabrication, transportation and installation of offshore platforms and offshore pipelines for the oil and natural gas industry. Due to expansion, we are looking for an experienced and qualified individual to join us as :
Senior Structural Engineers
(Singapore - Toa Payoh) Responsibilities:
- Performs detailed engineering and design calculations including analysis of structures.
- Prepares design reports and construction procedures and carries out design verification through single discipline check / IDC.
- Monitors scope change and raises change orders to the project.
- Interfaces with all disciplines to develop a clash free design.
- Interfaces with Client and other agencies on their review and approval.
- Ensures structural engineering integrity of the assigned work area.
- Completes the work within budget and schedule and raises changes orders for scope change.
- Reviews project scope of work, specifications and deliverables and raises technical queries to maintain preferred McDermott practices and operational requirements.
- Supervise and guides the assigned engineers, drafting squad leader and weight control engineer.
- Assigns tasks and responsibilities to the team.
- Provides guidance on preparing structural general arrangements, basic schemes for fabrication and installation.
- Prepares / reviews design analysis, calculations and procedures for discipline deliverables such as:
- Analysis of structures for in-service and pre-service conditions.
- Detailed steelwork design.
- Reviews and approves all detailed drawings ensuring technical correctness, professional presentation and that fabrication and installation requirements are satisfied.
- Reviews multi-discipline deliverables, vendor data and provides comments to ensure all interfaces are detailed clash free.
Requirements:
- Posses Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
- With min 10 years of work experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Self driven and able to work as part of a dynamic and high performing team.
