Our services include design, fabrication, transportation and installation of offshore platforms and offshore pipelines for the oil and natural gas industry. Due to expansion, we are looking for an experienced and qualified individual to join us as :
Chief Estimator
(Toa Payoh) Responsibilities:
- Review Tender Documents such as Scope of Work, Terms and Conditions, Key Contract Dates, etc…
- Initiate all required documents and pro-forma as per Level 2 Procedures.
- Act as a single point of contact between all Operations/Departments, Clients and Management.
- Lead/manage the bid preparation process ensuring that Company Procedures are followed.
- Co-ordinate Bid Kick off meetings and follow-up with customer after bid submission.
- Ensure that the Bid development and bid inputs remain in accordance with the Plan.
- Review and identify any inconsistencies in ITT.
- Direct and provide guidance to the Proposal Assistants for the compilation of the Proposal Document.
- Review pricing and ensuring error free submission to client.
- Implementation of the directions and strategy of Management to the bid process.
- Remain fully updated on every aspect of Proposal preparation/status of ITT issue to Contract award.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Business Management
- Minimum 3 -5 years’ experience in estimating major marine installation and fabrication of offshore production facilities or experience in fabrication or installation or platform pipeline.
- Strong knowledge in MS Words, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Photoshop is a MUST.
- Experience in proposal preparation and management presentations as well as good oral and written communications and presentation skills will be advantageous.
- Detail, organize and analytical.
- Good team player and strong interpersonal skill
- Will to travel for bid clarification meetings.
