Research Scientist (Polymer Packaging)

West Responsibilities:

Conduct research in new / advanced polymeric packaging materials and identify opportunities to improve packaging material performance, process costs and cycle times

Execute industrial and research projects in polymeric packaging materials for targeted applications
Requirements:
-
PhD in Polymer Engineering / Polymer Chemistry / related disciplines
-
Good knowledge and experience with polymer packaging materials and testing for packaging
-
Familiar with relevant processes such as moulding / forming techniques, or applications of alternative processes such as plasma / microwave / radiation processing methods
-
Motivated; Good communication skills; Inclined towards scientific research

Able to work effectively and independently in a team
