Central Responsibilities:

Undertake routine pre-donation health screening and selection of potential blood donors.

Perform Donor Health Assessment and evaluate their suitability for blood donation. Educate and counsel them if they do not meet the donation criteria.

Countercheck the registration process so that donors' particulars are updated.

Counsel donors who have low haemoglobin as to why they should not donate and provide them with nutritional advice on iron rich food.

Assist in blood collection and manage donors with adverse reaction.

Maintain good medical records.
Requirements:

Must be registered with Singapore Nursing Board

Fresh can be considered
-
Must be Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays

Shift hours at Outram: 8.30am to 6pm / 10am to 7.30pm / 11.30am to 9pm (subjected to changes depending on the number of donors)

The selected person is also required to go on mobile buses where they will travel to a designated place The location can be an army camp / schools / neighbourhood / companies etc.
When they go on mobile buses, their shift will be: 7.30am to 4.30pm / 11am to 9pm
