Warehouse Supervisor (Inventory/ Operation/ Process)

Set up and develop processes for inventory movement that ensures inventory accuracy
Manage and maintain high standards of housekeeping within and around and ensure warehouse health and safety policies are adhered to.
Plan, organize, direct and control the activities in the warehouse.
Ensure efficient and smooth running of warehousing operations and optimizing the available manpower.
Lead the department to achieve Supply Chain KPIs and company target.
Effectively communicate with all relevant departments to ensure timely and accurate completion of workloads
Carry out administration duties, including compilation of Weekly and Monthly logistics Report for supply chain and higher management review.
Manage day-to-day shipping and transportation operations.
Develop supply base for global freight forwarding services and negotiate best term and conditions for the company
Manage forwarder and transportation company’s performances and ensure services rendered are in compliance with company’s operating procedures and work instruction.
Responsible for freight and transportation costs, as well as advice on appropriate routing and carriers to be used.
Ensure proper and accurate timely processing of documentation for all inbound and outbound shipment, insurance, including transit document and customs clearance of document are being raised
Review shipping work processes to enhance efficiency and productivity and manage trade compliance related issues
Develop and implement cost reduction and look into potential area for continuous improvement opportunities. To create and maintain good rapport at all levels
