Business Development Manager / Senior BDM (Construction)

Responsibilities:
- Generate new business though actively and professionally manage the sales cycle.
- Build, manage and maintain a computerized customer and prospect data base.
- Effectively meet (and exceed) new prospects, sales and margin targets as set by the Managing Director.
- Ensure that all sales opportunities are fully captured and explored.
- Provide timely response and exceptional levels of service to all commercial enquiries.
- Communicate new product and service developments to current and prospective clients.
Requirements:
- Degreein Building/Civil/Architecture Engineering or its equivalent
- Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in the construction or related sectors
- Candidates must have a good understanding of the construction industry in the areas of civil engineering works or interior decoration works in Singapore and have already established contacts within the market
- Knowledge of construction techniques and ability to read construction drawings are pre-requisites
- PC proficiency would be an added advantage
- An outgoing and pleasant personality with strong social skills is a must
- No travelling requirement.
- Able to communicate in English and Mandarin (need to liaise with Chinese speaking clients)
- Candidates can speak Japanese will be an added advantage.

The company previous portfolios include: commercial, industrial and residential properties.
