Our Client is one of the world's largest research-based pharmaceutical company. They are looking for a Dynamic & analytical, highly independent and committed individual to join as a "Supply Chain Specialist".

Supply Chain Specialist (Contract/West Side/Transport Provided)
West

Responsibilities:

Market Forecast & Demand
  • Study trend, understand market sales and marketing strategy
  • Communicate and work closely with market demand managers & planners
  • Weekly tracking of low stock SKU and resolution
  • Participate in launch calls and coordinate with planner on launch execution (e.g. expedites, cut PO, samples)
Delivery & Shipment
  • Critical Item list and expediting (urgent shipments, releases, etc) with planners
  • Decide and optimize the mode of shipment and shipment consolidation
  • Perform shipping transactions and build load in Manuguistics (for shipment)
  • Shipments pre alerts and documentation
  • Compile COC/COA (using Vendor’s packing list) to request for RCS packing list or pre-alert (USA) – DHL Inplant
  • Track and ensure batch releases in market
  • Track SLS dispatch from plant to Groton
  • Handle complaints
Setup
  • Responsible for Market Supply Chain Agreement (SCA)
Metrics
  • Percentage in Stock
  • Freight Cost Actual vs Budget
Projects
  • VSOT - escalate issues impacting OTIF
  • Yearly Budget Exercise

Requirements:

  • Technical Diploma or Materials Management/ SCM or Logistics Degree required.  APICS training/certification preferred
  • 2-5 years experience working in Supply Chain related fields (scheduling, procurement, logistics, customer service or demand management), preferably in the pharmaceutical/chemical industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to interface effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization and work cross-culturally.
  • Proven problem solving and analytical skills, attention to detail, well developed interpersonal skills and team orientation
  • Candidates who keen, willing to learn and are IT saavy. (Training on Systems Software will be provided)
  • Graduates in the Supply Chain field who are looking to gain experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry are also welcomed to apply
