It provides integrated systems, specialty vehicles and their related services for defence, government and commercial applications. This includes design and development, systems integration, production, operations & support and life cycle management.

Technical Trainer (ref: KIS/TTC/CTB)
(Singapore)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct the assigned lessons in accordance with syllabi & lessons plans
• Ensure desired skills and knowledge are taught using appropriate method of instructions to the trainees
• Ensure availability of training resources for the conduct of training
• Liaise with external agencies to conduct courses
• Conduct Operator Maintenance (OM) training courses in SAF Camps
• Manage weaker trainees through additional training
• Responsible for maintaining proper soldierly behaviour of the trainees throughout the course duration
• Prepare management reports on trainees' performance for timely submission
• Review training materials and syllabi
• Update lesson plans and learning materials in Learning Management System (LMS)
• Manage and account for training vehicles and equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance on training equipment and carry out unit level repairs for these training systems
• Maintain workshop facilities and comply with all SAF Safety and Risk Management requirements

Requirements:

• Diploma / Higher NITEC / NITEC / GCE 'A' / 'O' Level
• Must possess SAF technical-certificate qualification
• At least 2 years' working experience in carrying out maintenance and repairs of Army systems
• Conversant in respective land platforms or armament systems
• Certificates in instructional and coaching skills or ITE's Industry Trainer Certificate will have an added advantage
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills to interact and impart technical skills and knowledge effectively with the trainees
• Strong passion for teaching and learning
• Must have patience to handle slower learners
• Good conduct and disciplined behaviour
