Diesel Manager West - West Responsibilities:

Responsible for day to day Diesel workshop/dept management & overseeing for repairs & buildings of ships.

Ensure marine diesel engine overhaul processes are carried out effectively and productively in order to meet customer specifications and requirements.

Monitor and guide project engineers to ensure they are strictly compliance to respective engine protocols, critical process inspection (CPI), task sheets and processes stated in Diesel workshop handbook.

Foresee department overall project to achieve engine delivery deadline and target and quality assurance.

Strictly implement yard safety regulations and continuously promote safety awareness by leading as model.

Align projection of departmental annual plan with corporate annual plan.

Control departmental deployment and effective utilization of manpower and material resources.

Identify and develop processes, technologies and or strategies with acquisition of equipment and tools to improve productivity and quality.

Manage staffs and sub-contractors to produce quality jobs.
Requirements:
-
Minimum Degree / Diploma in Marine / Mechanical Engineering or Diesel related.

Minimum 5 - 7 years of relevant working experiences from Marine or related industries in similar capacity with at least 1 - 2 years managerial capacity.

Good knowledge of marine diesel engine overhauling, servicing and engine system trouble shooting as well as people skill management.

Possess a valid COC - Chief Engineer level has added advantage.

Dynamic, responsive and proactive.

Able to work under pressure.
-
Must be prepared to travel at short notice when required.

Singaporean / PR preferred.
-
Able to start work within short notice will have an added advantage.
