Desktop Support Engineer
Central

Responsibilities:

Provide ad-hoc IT maintenance support, troubleshooting, monitoring, and resolving desktop PC and printer issues on customer site. Be the point of contact to customer calls on IT related problems. Involve in deployment of new hardware and/or software for multiple users and locations Perform hands-on installation and troubleshooting of IT hardware & software in a large and fast paced user environment. Standby Duties may be required. Open to working in customer premises 

Requirements:

  • Candidate with a Professional Certificate, Diploma in related field.
  • Required skill(s): Microsoft O/S (XP, Vista, 2000, Windows 7)
  • Required skill(s): Must be excellent in major brand PC/Notebook trouble shooting, support and installation.
  • At least 1 - 3 years of working experience in the related field.
  • Fresh Graduate are with positive attitude is welcome to apply.
  • Preferably junior executives specializing in IT/Computer - Hardware/Software or equivalent.
  • Candidates with a A+/MCP/MCSE/CCNA will be an added advantage
  • Candidates familiar with applications such as MS Exchange, Active Directory, Backup Exec will be an added advantage
  • Candidates with knowledge in network management systems and security products will be an added advantage
  • Good interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Must be highly customer focused and diligent towards customer related service issues
  • Must be Self motivated and committed
  • Able to work in a team, is meticulous and has experience in interaction with customers and vendors
