Principal Safety & Risk Consultant (Oil & Gas)

Responsibilities:

• Lead the expansion of Process Risk & Safety Team. 
• Focus on delivering process safety studies and risk assessments for oil & gas and petrochemical industries, in particular for offshore facilities (e.g. platforms, FPSO, FLNG).
• Provide leadership and deliver performance results to expand BMT's Process Risk & Safety team
• May be required to travel frequently on a region-wide basis

Requirements:

• Degree in chemical or mechanical engineering, preferably chartered from a recognised institution;
• 10~15 years of consultancy experience in oil & gas and petrochemical industries 
• Ability to conduct and manage design safety cases and risk assessments for offshore oil and gas facilities is a must
• Strong technical, business development and management skills
• Solid experience in process facility operations (preferably in offshore oil & gas industry) and knowledge of the process safety life cycle;
• Ability to facilitate HAZOP, SIL, HAZID and FMECA sessions;
• Experience in the development of business sectors within the process risk consulting industry is a plus
