Group Accountant/Senior Group Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Accounting, reporting & consolidation for group management across multiple international affiliates.
• Ensure accounting & financial reporting in line with Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines, IFRS and local GAAP.
• Provide accurate and timely financial reports to various internal/external stakeholders.
• Analysis of financial figures & preparation of commentary.
• Ensure compliance of regulatory tax requirements.
• Responsible for budget consolidation at group level and analysis of forecast.
• Support cash treasury and cash management function to ensure adequacy as well as efficiency in the use of funds.
• Support ERP implementation by defining and reviewing ERP processes.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 – 6 years accounting experience, preferably in dealing with multiple affiliates and entities.
• Degree in Finance/Accounting, ACCA or CPA.
• Experience in project management will be an added advantage.
• Experience in leading junior staff.
• Strong ability to be a team player in an international environment and collaborate with international teams.
• Knowledge in accounting principles and guidelines (IFRS, US GAAP, local and tax).
• Knowledge in audit, internal control systems and SOA.
