The Insolvency & Public Trustee’s Office, a department under the Ministry of Law, provides services in individual and corporate insolvencies administration, administration of the estates of deceased persons, and licensing and regulation of moneylenders & pawnbrokers.

Assistant Registrar (Moneylender & Pawnbroker)
(Singapore - Maxwell Road)

Responsibilities:
You will play a pivotal role in the strategic planning and policy reviews of the Moneylending and Pawnbroking regime in Singapore. You will monitor the developments in these two industry closely and be actively involved in outreach programmes with key stakeholders and the general public as a whole. Your job also requires you to attend to queries from members of the public.

Requirements: Candidates should have a Diploma in any discipline, with at least 2 years of work experience. Critical thinking and research and analytical skills are essential. The candidate should have good knowledge in using Excel, have excellent interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills, and be a team player. Experience in formulating and reviewing strategies and policies would be an advantage.
