In addition to earlier sales and distribution activities, the company has expanded with internal engineering and manufacturing functions. This employee will be responsible for local revenue generation in the Singapore branch. He will report directly to the President of the Company and interface with the Operations Manager, Accounting Manager, other Singapore, Taiwan and US-based Sales managers, as well as others in and outside of the company.
The focus for this position will be on both increasing sales of existing products and in moving new products into the marketplace while creating outstanding customer satisfaction and customer loyalty.This position is ideal for a semiconductor sales management professional who has a proven track record of success and the confidence and desire to perform apart from a large corporate umbrella.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
· Substantial growth in revenue in the Singapore market, while maintaining company profitability expectations.
· Senior technical sales role for development and closing of key capital equipment business.
· Coordinate and communicate with US counterparts and management team.
· Create and maintain outstanding customer satisfaction and loyalty.
· Take ownership of customer product evaluations and drive them to successful completion and purchase.
· By working closely with customers, collect needed information to drive product improvement efforts and new product developments.
Must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Material Science), Engineering (Mechanical), Chemistry, Marketing or equivalent.
At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Managers specializing in Sales - Engineering/Technical/IT or equivalent
Candidate must have a demonstrated ability to grow revenues and profits.
Must have a University degree (technical degree preferred) and >10 years semiconductor capital equipment sales / sales management experience in the local market.
Needs strong verbal and written communication skills, including command of English language.
Must be able to excel in a self-directed and self-motivated environment.
Must have the ability to establish and maintain relationships with customers, co-workers, and other business associates.
