About the Institute of Medical Biology (IMB)
The Institute of Medical Biology (IMB) is a research institute under A*STAR’s Biomedical Research Council, which focuses its research to help bridge basic science and clinical medicine, necessary to nurture an innovative and productive biomedical industry in Singapore. IMB’s research activities range from stem cells, regenerative medicine to genetic diseases. Our goal is to understand mechanisms underlying human disease, so that we may discover new and effective approaches to combating illness and promoting wellbeing.
