Food Services

From affordable fast food outlets to upmarket fine-dining restaurants, Singapore's vibrant Food Services sector offers diverse cuisine and numerous dining experiences to both residents and tourists alike. With about 7,000 establishments, the sector currently employs 170,000 workers. As the sector moves towards innovative and productive concepts, the career opportunities in the Food Services sector will be diverse and vast.

Retail

Contributing 1.4% to Singapore's GDP with $33 billion in operating receipts and employing 170,000 employees nationwide, retail is a key sector in Singapore's economy. Singapore's vibrant retail sector has made the country a leading shopping capital in Asia Pacific. The retail landscape has been greatly enhanced with the opening of new malls in both town and suburban areas. In the longer term, with the proliferation of digital retail technologies, the retail industry will continue to provide exciting job opportunities.
