They act as a point person and contact for a business, organisation, or individual and perform a range of administrative tasks. A Secretary interacts with other individuals or departments on a daily basis, so organisational, interpersonal and communication skills are important.

How to become a Secretary
To work as a Secretary, formal education is usually required.

Gain three years’ worth of experience in a relevant industry.
Progress to a role such as a Personal Assistant, Office Manager, or Administrative Coordinator.
