Tasks and duties
- Handling cash transactions for bank customers, including deposits, withdrawals and transfers.
- Managing routine account transactions and services such as opening new accounts, selling bank products and services.
- Providing exceptional customer service, answering customers' questions and solving problems related to their bank accounts.
- Verifying identity of customers and authorising transactions, ensuring security and preventing fraud.
- Counting and balancing cash in the drawer at the start and close of each shift.
- Complying with all bank operational and security policies and procedures to protect customers and bank assets.
- Referring customers to other services such as loans, investments or insurance.
